The Kingdom of Busoga is abuzz with joy following the birth of twin sons to His Majesty William Wilberforce Kadhumbula Nadiope Gabula IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, and his wife, Queen Jovia Mutesi. The twins, named Prince William Ethan Nadiope and Prince Arnold Eli Nadiope, were born on August 27, 2025, marking a historic moment in the kingdom’s royal lineage.

A Double Blessing for Busoga

The announcement was made by Dr. Joseph Muvawala, the Prime Minister of Busoga Kingdom, who described the birth as a “double blessing” for the kingdom. He expressed gratitude to the people of Busoga for their unwavering support and belief in the Kyabazinga, emphasizing that the continuity of the kingdom is now assured.

A Legacy of Twin Births

The birth of twins is a significant event in the history of Busoga’s royal family. According to Owekitiibwa Woira Kitimbo Henry, the Isabalangira of Bugabula BB, the Kyabazinga is following in the footsteps of his father and grandfather, both of whom also had twins. The joyous occasion coincides with preparations for the 11th coronation anniversary of the Kyabazinga, scheduled for September 13, 2025, at the kingdom’s headquarters in Bugembe, Jinja City. A 14-member team is organizing the celebrations, which are expected to be a grand affair, reflecting the significance of both the royal birth and the coronation milestone.
